Art Club has begun!

Art club has begun once again at Ginter Park Elementary School. Students are working hard on their collages inspired by African American woman artist, Howardena Pindell. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) https://www.vmfa.museum/ has an excellent exhibition currently of her works of art.

Welcome to Art-School Year 2018-2019

Art has begun and each Ginter Park student has been creating a feather. On top of the feather it reads, "Ginter Park Elementary is important because....". Students thought about and wrote why our school is important to them. After completing the feathers they will be transformed into a pair of wings.

Printmaking is so cool!

We have enjoyed hosting Ms. Ferguson our VCU Art Education student teacher for the past 8 weeks. Thanks for doing an excellent job!  We will miss you, and we know you will go on to do many great things in the art world!
